Senior Millage funds 22 different programs to help improve the health, safety, dignity and independence of older adults, age 60+
Renewed for another ten years on August 4, 2020, by Calhoun County voters, Senior Millage funds 22 different programs that served over 6,500 older adults, age 60 and over, last year.
Ten trusted nonprofit organizations provide programs including Meals on Wheels, exercise programs through Senior Fitness & Fun, Senior Transportation, Benefits Counseling, Dental Assistance and Senior Centers. The 13-member Senior Millage Allocation Committee oversees spending of Calhoun County Senior Millage tax dollars.
