Harrison County is currently under a burn ban due to unfavorable conditions for outdoor burning. Despite numerous outdoor fires in Harrison County, we urge residents to help protect their property by refraining from outdoor burning.

Burn Ban for Harrison County Effective 1/1/2026 @ 3pm
Due to extremely dry conditions a ban on outdoor fires and fireworks will start today. This order is only for the unincorporated areas of the county. Cities may or may not order a burn ban.

Thank you to all the volunteer firemen who have been serving all over the county. Even today, many are responding to several fires.
