🚦The Upgrade to the Traffic signal at the intersection of North Dr. and Brewer St. will take place tomorrow, Monday, June 15, 2026.

This upgrade will allow for traffic flow and patterns to remain the same; however, the traffic signals and pedestrian crossings will be upgraded with new equipment.

👷🏽🦺Crews will be working in the area during construction and will be performing temporary lane shifts.

🛑The intersection will be a 4 way stop till the work is completed. Please use caution and expect minor delays.

The City of Battle Creek Traffic Services are contracted to do this work for the City of Marshall.

Michigan Ave and the 100 block of North Eagle, will be closed for the 21st Anniversary Marshall Blues Festival, beginning at 11:00am on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Michigan Ave will be closed until midnight that evening. Traffic will be detoured per the detour route and attendees will find parking per the parking map.

🚦The Upgrades to the Traffic signal at the intersection of North Dr. and Brewer St. have been postponed due to weather. The work is expected to take place sometime next week and we will inform you as soon as we have the date confirmed.

🚧Michigan Ave will be closed from 9:00am to 12:30pm, with other streets closed for the race events. Parking on Michigan Avenue will not be available during the event.

🚚👷The Department of Public Works team welcomed 43 people to the Open House on May 21st at the City’s DPW Garage on Homer Road.

One lucky raffle winner chose to ride-along in the city sweeper. 👷‍♂️🦺 Sporting a City of Marshall hard hat and vest, he and his Dad had a great time riding along, while the DPW crew swept the street they live on!

😃Fun was had by all who attended!
