A few important changes 🤍
I am sure many of you have seen the changes that MANY photographers are making to their policies regarding posting photos of children. This all is as a result of a recent ruling regarding AI photos, explicit / graphic material, children, and what is now considered constitutionally protected
While I personally won’t get into the details, I think it is important to address the issue.
As I have always had in place - it is completely up to the parent of the minor whether they want their child’s face shared on my social media pages. This will continue to be policy moving forward.
The change… I will be having you sign, in person at your session, a clear contract that states you are …
A. Allowing me to post photos of your child, including their face.
B. Allowing me to post photos of your child, not including their face.
C. Not allowing me to post any photos of your child.
These contracts will be put in place beginning at my next sessions (this weekend) and be implemented moving forward. They will all be hard copy contracts, signed & dated in person, and saved.
I love photographing your sweet kiddos and feel that your discretion is best! As their parent, I want you to feel confident in choosing me as your photographer and knowing that your images are safe with me. I also want you to still feel that you have the choice in what is shared and what isn’t. 🤍
*if I have shared photos of your kiddo in the past and you would now like them removed from social media, please reach out to me! I cannot make any promises that I will be able to remove them all, only due to having thousands of photos shared, however, I will do my absolute best!*
