We would rather provide the public with a quality, complete recording than an interrupted or incomplete livestream. The Compost Area will switch to its Spring/Summer Hours as of March 18, 2026. After that date the Compost Area will be open each week with the following schedule: Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday throughout the Spring and Summer months.

March 2026 Stormwater Tip of the Month: Recycle used motor oil. Municipal Services will accept used oil. Call 660-886-3945. Whatever you do, never dump motor oil, gasoline, or solvents down a storm drain! Report such activities to Municipal Services.

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for our area for Friday, February 27, 2026 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Marshall Fire Department asks all residents to refrain from burning today due to increased risk of fire danger.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The City of Marshall will host a series of Town Hall meetings to provide information about the proposed half-cent transportation sales tax that will appear on the April 7, 2026 ballot.
Join members of the Municipal Services Committee and City staff on Thursday, February 19, 2026 or Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. to learn how the proposed tax would work, what it would fund, and how it could impact our streets and sidewalks. There will be time for questions and open discussion.
