I’m just incredibly grateful to you all.
Thank you to every person who took time out of your day to early vote, vote on election day, share a post, send a text, say a prayer, put out a sign, honk when you drove by, or stop and talk with us at the booth. The support my family and I have felt over these last several weeks is something we will never forget.
This campaign for the Primary was truly a family effort. My wife has been by my side every step of the way attending meetings, community events, dinners, helping hold signs, shake hands, and encouraging me through all of it. I could not have done this without her constant support and belief in me.
To my daughters, thank you for the long days, the late nights, the time taken off work, the endless posts and videos, and for pouring your hearts into this campaign. Hopefully those TikTok videos gained me more votes than they lost me. 😂
To our family members who showed up day after day to help staff early voting and election day: my mother, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law, great-aunt, and every member of our family who gave their time and energy, thank you. There is no way we could have kept those early voting booths running for weeks straight without you all.
And to the people of District 5, thank you for believing in me. This would not have been possible without your trust, your encouragement, and your support. I don’t take that lightly.
The August general election is still ahead and my name will be on that ballot as well. I encourage everyone to continue showing up and making their voices heard. Local elections matter, and the future of our community is shaped by the people who take the time to participate. 🇺🇸
Thank you again for the kindness, support and prayers you’ve shown my family and me throughout this journey. We are truly grateful.
