C.P.'s Ice Cream at Illini State Park

Here's the scoop! We have patiently waited for the building and construction to be done, and its done! Now the state has awarded somone else to run the Illini Concessions. So no more River Rapid Razzles, no more Banana Splits, no more small cones with firewood purchases. We had a good run for 21 operating years, and saved the park twice. Thank you for all the kids first cone moments, Birthday parties, chamber breakfasts, 4th of july cones after fireworks, , Christmas in July, family picnics and the car shows in the park. No negativity here please. Post your positive memories and or pictures. Thank you for letting our family help you enjoy a moment in our park!!

🏐 Calling All Adult Volleyball Enthusiasts! 🏐

Are you ready to show off your volleyball skills and serve for a fantastic cause? Grab your friends, family, and colleagues, because our One-Day C0-Ed Adult Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Fundraiser is just around the corner!

Event Details:
Date: 9/30 (Saturday)
Time: 11 am to 3 pm
Location: Marseilles Pool Sand Volley Ball Net
Cost: $140 a team (team size min 8 and max 10, with 6 players on the court at once) - sponsors for a team are welcomed.

Your participation will directly support our Youth Co-Ed Volleyball program. By joining hands with fellow sports enthusiasts, you’ll contribute to fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among the youth in our community.

This event is open to everyone, regardless of skill level (just need to fill out a waiver)! Whether you’re a seasoned volleyball player or a newbie looking for a fun way to spend the day, this fundraiser is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some sun, sand, and friendly competition.

As as an example “Commissioners vs. Teachers” to other creative team matchups, this event is a chance to have some fun, while supporting a great cause.

How to Register:
Form a team of friends, colleagues, or family members (8-10 players per team).
Assign a creative team name that reflects your group’s personality.
Submit the team registration form with payment by 9/10 by going to Marseilles City Hall (individual waivers will also need to be filled out prior to everyone on the court)

*We are limiting to the first six teams due to the space and duration set up for the fundraiser. Each team will receive a different colored set of jersey vests to define each team.
