School districts and communities in 69 counties will hold elections next Tuesday, Nov. 5. To find out if your community has an election or to view a sample ballot, visit the Michigan Voter Information Center at www.michigan.gov/vote. Polls will be open statewide from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Pickford Community Library is hosting an event for the Michigan Library Association (MLA) recognizing Representative Chatfield as the MLA Legislator of the Year. We are honored for the opportunity to show our respect and gratitude for his service to the library community.

Please join us for an award presentation followed by a cookies and coffee reception featuring Kelly Slater’s world famous cupcakes! Please tell all of your friends and neighbors – it’s time to celebrate at the Pickford Community Library.
