Today is NMU Giving Day, and that’s why NMU Army ROTC is honored to support the residents of the Jacobetti Veterans Home in Marquette through a special Wish List Drive.

The veterans living there have dedicated their lives to protecting our country and our freedoms. Through the Wish List, we have the opportunity to give back by helping provide everyday essentials that improve their comfort and care.

By donating through the Wish List, you are helping supply important items such as clothing, personal care products, and other daily necessities for the veterans who call The Jacobetti Veterans Home their home. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real impact and reminds our veterans that their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

Here's another look at some of our smiling faces from out last MWR day. As students file back into Marquette from their spring break, we wish everyone safe travels and a smooth transition back to school.

This morning, members of the Wildcat Battalion honored the life and legacy of 1stLt Travis Manion (USMC) by completing the Manion Hero WOD. The workout, consisting of seven rounds of a 400-meter run and 29 weighted squats, commemorates the day Travis gave his life in service to our nation on 04/29/2007. In addition to their physical effort, participants raised over $200 to support the Travis Manion Foundation and its mission to empower veterans and families of fallen service members.
