On Thursday, June 25 at 7:00pm, all are invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by the inaugural Marquette City Band concert at the Peg Hirvonen Band Shell on Presque Isle.

The ceremony and concert are free and open to the public. Come celebrate with us and enjoy the long-awaited return of summer music at the band shell!

Join us for Cultural Trail Stories Sessions on April 20 and April 22. These sessions offer a series of ten-minute interpretive "Trail Talks" by NMU Students exploring local history and the environment, alongside updates from City staff on upcoming Shoreline Cultural Trail projects.

Monday, April 20 | 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: Provisions Coffee (401 Lakeshore Blvd)
Program: Indoor presentation followed by a guided walk to the Whetstone Brook storymarker.

Wednesday, April 22 | 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: Dead River Cultural Trail Storymarker (Park at Clark Lambros Beach)
Program: A one-mile outdoor walking tour to the entrance of Presque Isle Park.

These events are open to the public and no RSVP is required. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather as programs will proceed rain or shine. Additional information is available on the MQTcompass.com
