School Bus information:

ReRe Stout is the Bus driver for the town of Marmet Wv, Kanawha County Schools;
Chesapeake Elementary
DuPont Middle School
Riverside High School

This year due to Riverside High starting earlier all bus stops are falling around 15 mins earlier for pic up times from last year .
Please message ReRe Stout on her personal Face Book messenger if you need an exact time for your stop. Marmet City Hall will not have this information.
Bus is still the same 1413
With the Route number RH92.

Also remember starting Monday morning children will be starting school. Remember the speed limit through the school zone at Mary Phalen Learning Academy and be on the lookout for children walking and catching buses.

NOTICE TO ALL MARMET RESIDENTS

IMPORTANT NOTICE — GOLF CARTS, 4-WHEELERS & SIDE-BY-SIDES

The Town of Marmet is now issuing permits for golf carts, 4-wheelers, and side-by-sides.

Permits will take effect September 1, 2026.

All operators must obtain a Town of Marmet permit and provide proof of:

A valid driver’s license

Valid vehicle insurance

⚠️ Beginning September 1, 2026, anyone operating a golf cart, 4-wheeler, or side-by-side without the required Town permit and documentation will be subject to a citation.

Please stop by Marmet Town Hall to obtain your permit and make sure you are in compliance before September 1st.

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO STREET LEGAL SIDE BY SIDES REGISTERED WITH DMV.
