Please remember donations are always welcome at the Community Center Blessing Box. Families in our community may struggle with food needs during the summer months. Donations of nutritious snacks, cereals and meal items would be greatly appreciated.

Summer break begins Friday, May 15th. If you have children needing a book or an activity, check the Little Free Library available at the town's community center. If you have gently used books, puzzles, dvds, art projects or games that children would enjoy, please consider sharing them with the community's Little Free Library. Remember the library's motto - "Take a book, leave a book".

The trash dumpsters placed on the north side of the Central High Volunteer Fire Department were never intended to be used to dump this type of household trash. In the past, we have had issues with over-filling from remodel jobs including rolls of carpet and appliances. This time of year with the amount of wind we've had, over-filling the dumpsters means trash blowing out littering school property, the fire department and the community center. For these reasons, we have scheduled the dumpsters to be removed. If you have any concerns regarding this matter, the Town Board's next meeting is April 6th at 7 p.m.

Oklahoma ranks among the top states in the nation for sugary drinks. Soda, sweet tea, sports drinks and energy drinks can add a lot of extra sugar to our diets.

Choosing water more often is a simple way to cut back on added sugar and support better health.
Through Shape Your Future, TSET shares practical tips to help Oklahomans build healthier habits. Small changes, like choosing water instead of sugary drinks, can lead to better health over time.
