We have had to switch our project for Kid's Craft Tuesday this coming week. Rather than the planned project, we'll doing Indian corn with pony beads! Because we are using the small pony beads this project is for children 6-12. When Marlow Community Services Coordinator Jesus asks if we have a use for a large document organizer, the answer is YES! Thanks to his help we can get all our construction paper and colored cardstock organized and ready to go for all our crafts and projects! We're always thankful for the extra support from the City of Marlow .

During August, Ms. Jennifer spent time rearranging and reorganizing the early reader section of the library. Some book cubbies were kind of empty and some super full, so she reorganized them to fit more comfortably and make it easier for you to browse through! The "Special Collection" shelving got the biggest update. This is where we keep super popular books that we have a lot of, like Mo Willems (the Pigeon and Elephant and Piggie), Clifford, Llama Llama, etc. If your reader knows where their favorite book usually lives and can't find it, don't worry! We still have it, it's probably shifted a space or two away.

September Adult Craft Night, Thursday, September 17th at 5:00 pm, we will have Alicia Martinez here to teach us how to crochet! We have 10 spots still available, all supplies are provided and as always, this is a FREE class! Please call 658-5354 or stop by the front desk to sign up! 🙂 Bring a friend and make it fun learning something new together! You may bring a drink of your choice.

September is Library Card Sign Up Month! If your kids are 8 or older, they can get their very own library card! All they need is a parent or other legal guardian to sign them up! If you don't have a library card yourself, you just need a photo ID and second proof of address! All library cards include FREE access to Libby for ebooks, audiobooks, etc!

Really looking forward to jumping into this with the teens! All materials will be provided (although if anyone already has a hook they prefer, they are more than welcome to bring it). We'll start at 3:15 on Thursday! This program is for teens aged 13+

Our first Kid's Craft Tuesday of the school year! We made yarn-resist birch trees! Next week we'll be making lanterns!
