City of Marlborough (Official)

City of Marlborough (Official) Official page of the City of Marlborough, Massachusetts. The City of Marlborough is a quintessential New England community rich in history and tradition.

We are located near the intersection of Routes 495, 290, 20 and the Massachusetts Turnpike. Our central location and ease of access has helped propel Marlborough into becoming a hub of commerce and civic engagement in the Metro West region. In addition to housing the Solomon Pond Mall, Marlborough is also home to companies such as Raytheon, Dow Chemical Company, Boston Scientific, The TJX Companies, and Quest Diagnostics. We are also home to the New England Sports Center, a six ice rink complex that has hosted everything from collegiate hockey tournaments and championships to competitive figure skating. Our city is governed by a Mayor-Council form of government. The Mayor and Councilors are elected to concurrent two year terms. The current Mayor is Arthur G. Vigeant. The City Council has bi-monthly meetings at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 2nd floor, City Hall on Monday evenings. Meetings are open to the public.

Please join us tomorrow, Friday, September 11th at the Walker Building at 9:45 A.M. for a Remembrance Ceremony honoring those who sacrificed their lives, lost loved ones, and lives that were changed forever on that day 25 years ago.

Please join us for a special remembrance of the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. We will be honoring those who lost their lives that day and those that continue to suffer the effects of the toxins at ground zero. Public is welcome.

Public Notice regarding Public Safety Training today at the Immaculate Conception Church.
Please see the shared post from Marlborough Police Department - MA

ACTIVE ATTACK TRAINING NOTICE

During the next few weeks the Hudson Police Department will participate in active attack response training in Marlborough alongside the Marlborough Police Department, Marlborough Fire Department, Hudson Fire Department, and Coastal EMS.
The exercise will involve numerous first responders and emergency vehicles. Members of the public may notice an increased police, fire, and EMS presence in the area; however, this is only a training exercise.
This critical training allows police, fire, and emergency medical personnel to practice a coordinated response, strengthen communication, and develop the skills necessary to respond quickly and effectively during a real emergency.
Emergencies do not stop at town lines. Training together ensures that our agencies are prepared to work as one team when our communities need us most. We appreciate the publicโ€™s understanding and continued support as we conduct this important training.
