Join the Marlborough Historical Society for a fascinating look at one of America’s most well-known presidents: Abraham Lincoln.

Presented by the Honorable Dennis J. Curran, Justice Massachusetts Superior Court (Ret.), this program will examine how, as a politician, Lincoln mastered the art of communication and compromise; and as a leader, envisioned a goal and attained it by tempering responsibility and determination with compassion and hope.

The Outdoor Fitness Club is a free, monthly, drop-in outdoor workout designed to help adults and teens build strength, mobility, and healthy movement habits in a supportive and friendly environment.Sessions are non-competitive, approachable, and centered on building community and sustainable health habits through movement.

All activities will take place outdoors in the front lawn of the library rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather. No equipment or prior fitness experience is required. Participants are welcome to bring a yoga mat if they’d like extra comfort during the cool-down and stretching portion.

To reach the front lawn: from the parking lot, head to the left of the 1st floor courtyard and walk around the side of the library building.
