A special reminder from Cajun Santa to the Fifthward community, We are pleased to announce that Cajun Santa will be visiting the Fifthward Fire District tomorrow, Saturday, December 13, 2025. Cajun Santa will depart from the Fifthward Volunteer Fire Department station at 9:30 a.m. and make his way on his usual route throughout the community. Residents are kindly advised to listen for the fire truck sirens as he approaches their area. The Fifthward Fire Department and the Fifthward Fire Board would like to extend warm wishes to everyone for a safe and joyful Christmas. We also take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the Fifthward community for their support throughout the year. May God bless you and your families anda Merry Christmas.

The Fifthward Fire Department will be participating in the annual Fifthward community trick-or-treating event this Friday, October 31, 2025. The fire station will be open from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, where candy will be handed out to trick-or-treaters. We wish the community a safe and enjoyable Halloween. Furthermore, we are currently recruiting volunteer firefighters to join our team; if you are interested, please ask our volunteers for details tomorrow night. This past Thursday night, the Fifthward Fire Department hosted its annual Christmas banquet, where Chad Ewing was honored as the 2024 Fireman of the Year. As a resident of the Fifthward fire district, Chad has consistently provided outstanding support to his community. Chad also celebrated a milestone, marking five years of service to the FWFD. We at the Fifthward Fire Department would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for your service and commitment. If you see Chad, please extend your congratulations.

Cajun Santa 🎅 will be making an appearance in the Fifthward community tomorrow, Saturday, 12/7/24. The event will begin at 8am, departing from the station, and will follow the same route as the previous year, with similar timing. Santa will be accompanied by the Fifth Ward firetruck; however, the exact times for the route are not available. Please listen for the sirens, which will indicate the approach of the firetrucks to your area. Throughout the morning, updates will be provided on Cajun Santa's location and upcoming destination.
