Hello, my name is Egypt Pickle and I am running for Circuit Clerk. I have lived in Crittenden County for 20 years. I started working in the Circuit Clerks Office in 2012 at just 18 years old. I have worked in various departments over the years, including Domestic Relations, Juvenile, and helping other departments when I am needed. For the past 11 years I have worked in the Criminal department filing new cases, typing dockets for court, assisting attorneys, prosecutors, and circuit judges not only in the office but in the courtroom as well. I help members of the public with proper filing procedures and record requests on a daily basis. I have also worked record sealing clinics and prepared numerous transcripts for the Arkansas Court of Appeals. I pride myself on being at work everyday, I am currently in the office and well trained for all aspects of the job. I am dedicated, loyal, and have devoted over a decade of my life to the Circuit Clerks office.

Beth Wilson-Justice of the Peace District 2

Beth Wilson is a lifelong Crittenden County resident and a proven leader focused on practical results for District 2. She currently serves as Economic Development Director for the City of Marion, where she works daily to attract jobs, support local businesses, and strengthen community investment across the region.

Beth brings real-world experience in economic growth, infrastructure planning, and community partnerships. Her work centers on helping families thrive, supporting small businesses, and ensuring responsible development that protects taxpayer resources while preparing the county for future opportunities.

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arkansas State University. Beth is a graduate of the ASU Delta Center Women’s Leadership Academy, the NEA Regional Leadership Accelerator, the 75Strong cohort, and the Community Development Institute, where she has continued building skills in leadership, planning, and public service.

A West Memphis resident for more than 25 years and a Crittenden County resident for over four decades, Beth has a long record of community involvement and service. She understands the needs of working families, seniors, and local employers because she has spent her career working alongside them.

Beth is running for Justice of the Peace to be a strong advocate for residents, promote responsible growth, support fiscal stewardship, and strengthen county services and infrastructure. Alex Thomas-Justice of the Peace District 2

Alex Thomas is a lifelong West Memphis resident, educator, and advocate running for Justice of the Peace, District 2.

A proud graduate of West Memphis High School and the West Memphis School District, Alex earned her bachelor’s degree in history with an emphasis in Minority and African American Studies from the University of Arkansas and later completed her Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She is a fully licensed Special Education teacher and has spent her career working directly with students and families in Crittenden County.

In the classroom, Alex manages programs, builds school-based enterprises, works with budgets, collaborates with families, and navigates complex systems to make sure students receive the support they need. She understands how policy decisions affect real people because she sees it every day. The same problem-solving, accountability, and communication skills she uses as an educator are the skills she will bring to the Quorum Court.

Alex believes county government should be clear, honest, and accessible. She supports responsible budgeting, transparent decision-making, stronger infrastructure, safer neighborhoods, and better access to local services. She is committed to working toward a long-term, county-level solution for animal control that protects both residents and animals.

Her values are simple and steady.

Alex believes public office is not about holding a title. It is about showing up prepared, studying the issues, answering questions, and respecting taxpayer dollars. It is about listening to residents and making decisions that strengthen families and neighborhoods.

Dr. Topeka Small Singleton is an accomplished educator, accreditation expert, and former Director of the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership program at Arkansas State University. With over 23 years of experience across P–12 schools and higher education institutions, she brings deep expertise in curriculum design, assessment, and institutional effectiveness. She is also an approved professional development provider through the Arkansas Department of Education and has been authorized to deliver training to school districts across Arkansas as well as the Memphis-Shelby County School District.
