🚦🎒Lifting Up Perry County, From Classrooms to Crosswalks 📚🛣️
The Perry County Highway Department is proud to recognize two incredible local organizations helping us build a stronger, safer community.
🎉 This Saturday, August 2nd, these local stewards are hosting two Back-to-School Bashes and Supply Drives, and we’re thrilled to support their efforts while continuing our SS4A outreach.
📍 Project G.R.A.C.E. Central Alabama
🕒 10 AM – 12 PM | 📌 Perry County Courthouse Square
💡 A vital support system for families across Perry County, especially those navigating economic challenges. We’re honored to partner with an organization that shows up consistently with care, resources, and a deep commitment to meeting people where they are. From senior citizens to young students, they bring compassion into action, one neighbor at a time.
📍C.H.O.I.C.E. Uniontown
🕒 10 AM – 2 PM | 📌 CHOICE Center (60 Hamburg Duncan Rd, Uniontown, AL)
💡 An organization that’s actively empowering youth across Perry County, not just with programs, but with purpose. Through mentorship, creative learning, wellness initiatives, and hands-on skill-building, they’re helping young people grow into confident contributors to their community. It's a privilege to partner with them in building a brighter future.

While you're there, help shape the future of Perry County’s roads, take our SS4A safety survey! We’ll be present at both events with paper and digital options, ready to listen and gather insights that guide real improvements.
We’re honored to stand alongside Project GRACE Central Al and C.H.O.I.C.E. as they continue to lift up Perry County in powerful, lasting ways. While the collection deadline has passed, their work carries on every day, and support in any form helps move our community forward, one neighbor at a time.
