This week, participants kicked off the academy with an in-depth tour of the Marion Police Department, getting a behind-the-scenes look at our facility and operations.

Beginning tomorrow morning, 9/1, an emergency repair to a storm sewer on Indian Creek Rd (between the elementary school and Wallace St) will reduce traffic to one lane, with southbound traffic yielding to northbound traffic.

The lane restriction is expected to remain in place for approximately one week, weather permitting, and motorists are encouraged to use caution while allowing additional travel time when the work is underway.
