The Libertarian way is a logically consistent approach to politics based on the moral principle of self-ownership. Each individual has the right to control his or her own body, action, speech, and property. Government's only role is to help individuals defend themselves from force and fraud. Tolerant

The Libertarian Party is for all who don't want to push other people around and don't want to be pushed around themselves. Live and let live is the Libertarian way.

On May 4th, 1970 the Ohio National Guard opened fire on student protestors at Kent State University, killing four and injuring nine. This act of state violence on unarmed American civilians punctuated the Founding Father's intent for the 2nd Amendment - to protect individuals from government abuse and tyranny. Mr. O'Rourke isn't only missing the point, he's seeking to strip American citizens of their Constitutional rights and using the very reason we have them as an example of why.
