🎓Graduation Day!🎓

Proud to celebrate completing the Arkansas Walking College program! This experience has provided valuable tools, resources, and connections to help promote walking, active living, and healthier communities across Arkansas.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside passionate leaders who are committed to making movement more accessible and encouraging healthier lifestyles for all. Looking forward to putting what I’ve learned into action right here in Crittenden County!

We had so much fun spending the morning learning simple yoga poses, practicing mindfulness, moving our bodies, and enjoying healthy snacks together. It was wonderful to see our youth relaxing, building confidence, and trying something new in such a welcoming space.🤗

Thank you to all of the families who joined us and helped make this program a success. We are grateful for community partners like Woolfolk Public Library who help us provide meaningful opportunities for local youth!🤎✨

🌾🥃 Today I had the opportunity to join fellow UADA Leaders, Interns, & Local Municipalities on a field trip to Phillips County, Arkansas, where we explored innovation, entrepreneurship, and community development in the heart of the Delta.🤎

Our day began at Delta Dirt Distillery, where we learned how a multigenerational farm transformed locally grown sweet potatoes into an award-winning business. It was inspiring to hear their story of resilience, creativity, and commitment to Arkansas agriculture.

In the afternoon, we visited with local municipalities and met the team at Thrive, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to rural placemaking, youth engagement, entrepreneurship, and community revitalization. Their work is a powerful reminder that investing in people and place can create lasting impact in rural communities.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn from leaders who are preserving the rich heritage of the Delta while building a stronger future. These experiences spark new ideas and reinforce the importance of partnerships, innovation, and community-driven solutions.💪🏼✨
