🎶 Congratulations to four outstanding Pleasant High School band students who have been selected to participate in the 2026 All-Ohio State Fair Band! This is an incredible accomplishment.

Selected students include:
🎺 Lucy Aelker
🎺 Kate Apt
🎺 Talan Garver
🎺 Hannah Honaker

These talented musicians will perform multiple times each day during the Ohio State Fair alongside students from across the state. The All-Ohio State Fair Band is a tradition that has existed for more than 100 years and is the only band of its kind in the country!

Each week, we’ll break down how school funding works at Pleasant Local Schools and how public dollars support our students. Post any questions you may have regarding school finance, and we will do our best to address those questions.

First up: Who manages the district’s finances?
The Treasurer’s Office oversees all financial operations—accounting, payroll, budgeting, and reporting. The Treasurer serves as the district’s CFO, working closely with the Superintendent and Board of Education.
