Adult advance tickets (13 years or older): $13 per adult / $15 at the gate
Child advance tickets (ages 6-12): $7 per child / $8 at the gate
Children 5 years old and younger: FREE

We have an awesome new gift item available for purchase NOW: The Mississinewa 1812 Cookbook!

We are encouraging you to secure your book before the event in an effort to raise funds for site projects. Cookbooks feature recipes such as reenactor camp recipes, secret family specials, and favorites of our fallen friends to help commemorate their memory.

Cookbooks are available now for $20. This is a special price that will not be available at the event.

So why be a volunteer?

Volunteering for a community event like Mississinewa 1812 is an opportunity to meet new people in your area, see the inner-workings of what it takes to put on a large-scale function, build your resume for college or job applications, or even use as an opportunity for team building for your work/club/or church family. But most importantly - it’s a valuable way to give back to your community and a local not-for-profit organization.

⭐️For our information booth or merchandise tent: We are seeking friendly folks with a customer service attitude.
⭐️For our check-in tent or water sales: We are seeking friendly folks with basic computer skills.
⭐️For our people movers: We are seeking folks who have experience driving a tractor or are willing to be a safety spotter.
⭐️For all other tasks: We are seeking folks who aren’t afraid of some good old-fashioned manual labor.

Are you bringing your children to the event this year? If you are, don’t forget to get your SAM-Bands at the gate as you come in.

The SAM-Band program is named in memory of Samuel Fowler: a lifelong reenactor, dedicated member of the Mississinewa Battlefield Society's Board of Directors, a devoted father, and a sheriff's deputy. Sam always placed the safety of children at the heart of his service - both in his professional life and his commitment to Mississinewa 1812.

Sam brought the idea for child safety wristbands to the board, envisioning a simple way to help reunite lost children with their families. Through the SAM-Band, Sam's care and foresight continues to protect the next generation of Mississinewa 1812 visitors.

S - Stay Together
Keep young children within your sight at all times. Remind them to stay close and hold hands in crowded areas. Designate meeting spots (like the big boulder at the entrance) in case you get separated.

A - Add Your Number
Use a permanent marker to clearly write your cell phone number on the SAM-Band provided. Make sure the writing is legible and won't rub off. This helps staff or volunteers contact you quickly if your child is found.

M - Make It Visible
Explain to your child that if they become separated, they should show their SAM-Band to a trusted adult - like event staff, police officers, or volunteers in uniform. Encourage them to speak up and ask for help.

SAM-Bands can be collected at the ticket or information booths when you arrive at the event!

📣 Attention Mississinewa 1812 Participants! 📣

We are excited to share that the 2026 Participant Registration is now LIVE! All participant applications are due by AUGUST 31st.

New this year: Late applications will be charged a $20 late fee.

It only takes a few minutes to complete the registration so please complete it as soon as possible!

All new participants must submit camp and attire photos for review.

We look forward to seeing you all October 2-4, 2026!
