Marion Fire is preparing for Friday’s September 11 Remembrance, and we invite our entire community to join us for this special evening.

On Friday, we will come together to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call that day and those who continue to serve today, and recognize the veterans and service members who have dedicated their lives to protecting our nation.

As preparations are underway, we’re reminded of what this gathering represents...a community standing together in remembrance, gratitude and unity.

Happy Wednesday from Downtown Marion! 🤍

We’re sharing a peek at one of our favorite areas inside Hotel Marion. It's a special space picturing Marion through the years. We love being able to celebrate the history of our community while bringing new life to this beautiful, historic hotel.

We’ve been getting a TON of questions from all of you about reservation dates and open house dates and we promise...we cannot wait to share this space with you!

Our team is wrapping up a few final details, and we hope to have more information to share very soon, including details on reservations.

We are thankful for all of the hard-working people in our community. We are especially grateful for the employees, businesses, first responders, educators, healthcare workers, and countless others who work each day to serve and strengthen Marion.

🚧 PROGRESS CONTINUES! 🚧

We’re another step closer on the US 76 bridge over Catfish Creek!

Crews are hard at work today installing the guardrails as progress continues on the bridge replacement project. 👏

It’s exciting to see each new piece come together, and we know our community is ready to see this bridge reopen!
