We are happy to announce the 2026 Marion Harding Marching Band Leadership Team and Percussion assignments! ❤️🖤👏🎶📈

These students showed their dedication to our program through a combination of educational clinics, leadership essay questions, resume submissions and auditions. Our process culminated with drum major candidates completing a live conducting audition during today’s exam period, leading their classmates in performance; followed by interviews with the band directors.

We love these students and are proud of the work, growth and commitment they continue to display. They represent much of what we want to achieve as a program and we are excited to see them lead the band into the 2026 season. Looking forward to a wonderful year with these fine examples at the helm!

Friendly reminder regarding tonight’s meetings in the HHS Cafe (enter via Band Room - Door 4)!

At 6pm we invite our incoming 6th graders to learn more about their future in band.

At 7pm we ask that next year’s marching band members attend with a parent/guardian to review expectations, discuss calendar, meet the Presidents Band Club boosters to discuss financial items and introduce the 2026 show.

Looking forward to getting started with another great year with the MCS Bands!

It was our pleasure to host OMEA District 2 Junior High Large Group Contest this evening. A huge congratulations to the Grant Middle School Concert Band on their SUPERIOR Rating! It was also great to hear the Grant Choir and Orchestra performances. So much hard work on display!

We love working with these band students and are proud of their phenomenal musical growth. Keep working hard and striving for your best every day. ❤️🖤🎶👏📈💪🙏
