This summer, Second Lady Usha Vance is inviting students in grades K–8 to take on the Summer Reading Challenge! 🌞📖

From June 1 through September 4, students who read 12 books will be eligible for prizes and a chance to visit Washington, DC. It’s an engaging way to keep young minds sharp, strengthen reading skills, and make the most of a summer filled with great books.

1. Visit WH.gov/read
2. Read 12 books by September 4th
3. Submit your completed tracker online

Getttttt ready!!! Summer is nearly here and we are ROARING with excitement! Not only are we having plenty of events this summer, Library Bucks will be DOUBLED! All. Summer. Long!!!

Join us Thursday, May 7th, 2026, any time from 3pm - 5pm for some Mother’s Day crafting! We will have supplies for kiddos to make cards and other crafts for their person/people they are celebrating this Mother’s Day! All ages are welcome an encouraged to stop by!!

Look no further! Arkansas Choice Book Award Committees are looking for volunteers to help them with both Arkansas Diamond and Charlie May Simon Awards.

You can even earn these hours from HOME! This is an amazing opportunity for the busy kids and those who love to read alike!
