The mul­ti-page arti­cle, enti­tled: A City Refus­ing to Stand Still — From Fac­to­ry Town to For­ward City: Devel­op­ment Accel­er­ates Along Indiana’s I‑69 Cor­ri­dor, observes a once-depressed and declin­ing rur­al com­mu­ni­ty as a trans­for­ma­tion­al, inno­v­a­tive city with tena­cious spir­it, build­ing its own promis­ing future.

The mag­a­zine con­tact­ed the City of Mar­i­on after notic­ing a momen­tum of devel­op­ment and activ­i­ty hap­pen­ing under the lead­er­ship of May­or Ronald Mor­rell, Jr.

Celebrate another exciting milestone for Marion! 🎉✂️

On May 21, 2026, the City of Marion proudly welcomed the Grand Reopening Ribbon Cutting for Love’s 323, located at 253 Tippy Ditch Drive, Marion, IN 46952! 🚛⛽

Community members, local leaders, and supporters gathered to celebrate this refreshed location and the continued investment in our city’s growth and future.

Love’s 323 provides travelers and residents with convenient services, friendly hospitality, and another great stop right here in Marion.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support this special occasion and to the team at Love’s for choosing to grow and reinvest in our community.

Marion continues to move forward one ribbon-cutting at a time! ✨

Today, we pause to honor all the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

It is a time of remembrance, gratitude, and reflection for those who gave their lives in service to the United States of America.

As flags fly at half-staff from sunrise until noon, may we remember the courage, dedication, and selflessness of our fallen heroes and the families who carry their memories each day.

At 3 PM, we encourage our community to observe the National Moment of Remembrance with a moment of silence in honor of those who never made it home.

Today, we remember.
Today, we honor.
Today, we give thanks.

May we never forget their sacrifice.
