☀️Parking at L.A. County beaches and Marina del Rey just got an upgrade.☀️

The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors introduced new pay stations at public parking lots along County-operated beaches and in Marina del Rey.

Learn how the new pay stations work before your next visit:

• Locate a pay station
• Enter your license plate number
• Select how long you plan to park
• Pay with cash or a major debit or credit card
• Confirm your payment — and place your receipt on the dash

🚧 UPDATE: Point Dume Beach Safety Advisory 🚧

Due to severe erosion caused by recent high tides and surf, the Point Dume access road beyond the pay gate remains closed until further notice.

Beginning today, Westward Beach Road at the Birdview Avenue entrance is closed during active construction hours, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., to all members of the public, including pedestrians and cyclists, while emergency repairs are underway.

⚠️ Please do not enter the construction area or cross safety cones, caution tape, or other barriers.

⛔ Restrooms 1, 2, and 3 remain closed. Temporary chemical toilets and hand-washing stations are available.

Updates will be shared as additional information becomes available.

Due to severe erosion caused by recent high tides and surf, the Point Dume access road beyond the pay gate remains closed until further notice.

⚠️ For your safety, pedestrian access to the beach and access road is restricted while emergency repairs are underway. Heavy equipment and construction crews are working in the area. Please do not enter the construction area or cross safety cones, caution tape, or other barriers.

⛔ Restrooms 1, 2, and 3 remain closed after erosion damaged the water line serving the facilities. Temporary chemical toilets and hand-washing stations are available.

The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors and Los Angeles County Public Works continue to assess conditions and complete emergency repairs.
