Had the pleasure of attending a very informative meeting led by the Cobb County Democratic Committee talking about data centers and the harm they bring to our communities.

We have an opportunity to flip the Public Service Commission by electing Sheila Edwards, re-electing Peter Hubbard & break the Republican stranglehold & majority of the PSC and it's going to take a collective effort to do so.

Please make a plan to vote this November and take a family member and friend with you!

September is a time to raise awareness, strengthen our communities, and encourage conversations about health.

As we recognize Alopecia Areata Awareness Month and Prostate Health Month, we also acknowledge how these health challenges can uniquely impact African Americans.

Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss and can affect self-esteem, mental wellness, and quality of life. For many African Americans, cultural identity and hair are deeply connected, making awareness, support, and access to care especially important.

At the same time, African American men face a higher risk of developing and dying from prostate cancer compared to other groups. Early detection, regular screenings, and open conversations with healthcare providers can save lives.

This month, let's: 💜 Support those living with Alopecia Areata.
💙 Encourage prostate health screenings and education.
🤝 Break stigmas surrounding hair loss and men's health.
📢 Share resources, awareness, and hope throughout our communities.

Together, we can promote healthier lives through knowledge, prevention, and support.
