Junes theme: The Real Me "Identity, Authenticity, and Self-acceptance" The real me is not defined by my struggles, my mistakes, or my diagnosis. The real me is a person with strengths, purpose, value, and a story worth telling.

We will focus on discovering, accepting, and celebrating who we truly are beyond labels, diagnoses, addiction, trauma, grief, or life circumstances.

"Recovery isn't about becoming someone new. It's about rediscovering who you've always been."

As we wrap up April, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a month centered around balance 🌿

Throughout the month, we explored what it really means to live in a healthy balance—mentally, emotionally, and physically. We had meaningful conversations about what may feel out of balance in our lives, where our energy is going, what drains us, and what truly fills us back up. We practiced learning how to say no without guilt and worked on setting healthy boundaries while listening to our minds and bodies.

We also took time to focus on gratitude—recognizing our growth, celebrating the small victories, and appreciating the progress we’ve made, even when it feels slow.

This month wasn’t without its heavy moments. We held three grief groups where we showed up for one another, worked through our grief, and reminded each other that we don’t have to carry it alone. There was strength in simply being together 🤍

And in between the deep work, we made space for joy—playing games that reminded us of the importance of balance, patience, and just having fun.

We’re proud of the work that was done this month and grateful for everyone who showed up, shared, and supported one another.

Now we look ahead to May—Mental Health Awareness Month 💚
A time to continue the conversation, break the stigma, and keep showing up for ourselves and each other.

As we stepped into April, we also stepped into our new theme of Balance—and what a meaningful start it has been 💛

Last week, we spent time talking about the importance of creating a healthy balance in our lives. One of the biggest takeaways was the reminder that we can’t pour from an empty cup. So often, we give and give to others, but this month we’re focusing on making sure we are also pouring into ourselves—mentally, emotionally, and physically. When we take care of ourselves, we show up stronger for everything and everyone around us.

We also had a wonderful time at our Easter lunch 🐣 The turnout was amazing, and it was so special to see everyone come together, share a meal, and enjoy each other’s company. Moments like those truly remind us what community is all about.

Looking ahead to this week, we’ll be focusing on gratitude—specifically the things in our lives that keep us grounded and centered. Taking time to recognize those things can help us maintain balance, even when life feels overwhelming.

Here’s what we have coming up:
✨ Tuesday – Gratitude Group
We’ll begin our focus on the things that keep us grounded and help us stay centered in our daily lives.

✨ Wednesday at 1 PM – NAMI Connections (FREE & open to the public)
NAMI Connections is a peer-led support group for individuals living with mental health conditions. It offers a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space to share experiences, gain insight, and connect with others who understand.

💜 Thursday – Grief Group
A space to process, share, and support one another through grief in all its forms.

🎨 Friday – Jenga Art
We’re putting a creative twist on a classic balance game! Members will decorate pieces to help us create our very own House of Hope Jenga—a fun and meaningful way to represent balance and individuality.

We’re excited to continue this journey of finding balance together 🌿

As we wrap up the month of March, we’ve spent this time focusing on our theme of growth—and what a beautiful journey it has been.

This month reminded us that growth isn’t always about the big picture or the end goal. It’s about the small victories… and even the tiny victories within those. It’s about learning to pause, recognize those moments, and truly celebrate them. Because those little steps? They matter more than we sometimes realize.

We’ve also spent time reflecting on transformation—not dwelling on where we’ve been, but honoring the progress we’ve made. Growth isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress. It’s about showing up, trying again, and giving ourselves grace along the way.

One of the most special parts of this month has been watching our caterpillars, knowing they will soon become butterflies. 🐛🦋 Such a powerful visual reminder of what transformation really looks like.

“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.”

This quote holds so much meaning. There are moments in life that feel heavy… moments where it feels like everything is falling apart. But those moments can also be the beginning of something beautiful. It’s a reminder to hold on, to trust the process, and to believe that even in the darkest times, growth is still happening.

And in the true essence of growth—we’ve seen it not just in ourselves, but in our community. Our numbers have nearly doubled this month as spring has arrived, the sun is shining, and people are ready to get back out, reconnect, and enjoy the warmth together.

We are so proud of every step taken this month—big, small, and everything in between.

As we look ahead, April will be focused on balance—and the important role a healthy balance plays in our mental health. We’re excited to explore what that looks like for each of us.

Here’s to continuing to grow, transform, and celebrate every victory along the way. 🫶🏻💚
