ATTENTION!!! 11:45am

Love County E911 (Dispatch) is going through an upgrade to their systems. At this time our 911 phone calls are being routed through Ardmore Dispatch and are up and operational and working as normal.

Our non emergency lines are going to be down at this time until the upgrade is complete. We are unsure how long that will take but will update when the non emergency phone lines are back and functional. Be patient as there may be intermitment issues while they work out the kinks.

Due to rain in the forecast the burn ban will expire at midnight tonight per state statute however it should be noted that a majority of our Fire Chiefs wanted to extend the ban. This should be a warning to people that we are still unusually dry with a lot of fuel out there and fires can quickly grow out of control or containment if not done properly.
Please call in all burning to dispatch, if you don’t there is a good chance the fire department will get called to your location to investigate.
