Congrats to our 2025 Criminal Justice Scholarship winners!🏆🎓

Cash Smith, a Booneville High School graduate, was selected as the north winner.

Egan Wilhite, a New Site High School graduate, was selected as the south winner.

Judge Bishop and I will continue to invest into the youth of our community.

Judge Craig Bishop and myself are offering two $500 scholarships for two graduates desiring to go into the Criminal Justice field of study.📚🚓

Applications will be available on April 1st. Graduates, please see your school counselor for an application. ✍️

A $500 scholarship will be awarded to one graduate from the north district (Booneville, Thrasher, Jumpertown) and one graduate of the south district (Wheeler, Baldwyn, New Site). 🏆

🗣️ Office flip! Shout out to the Prentiss County Board of Supervisors, Prentiss County Chancery Court Clerk Bubba Pounds, God’s House of Hope, the Prentiss County Sheriff Office, and the staff at Prentiss County Justice Court for the support, resources, and volunteer hours to transform our office in 48 hours!

Our clerk, Lisa Stennett, asked for our help (Judge Bishop and myself) to clean, lay flooring, and paint a few months back. After the board approved the materials, we all worked together to make it happen.

This is the result of everyone working together, spending many hours helping, and seeing an office, that hasn’t been updated since the early 2000’s, get some much needed restoration!

Thank you again to the Prentiss County Board of Supervisors for being the catalyst with our project!
