The Jackson County Branch of the NAACP invites all community members to attend their monthly meetings and become active participants in serving Jackson County. The general membership meeting is held on the second Tuesday (September 10th) of each month at 6:00 p.m. at St. Luke Church, 2871 Orange Street, Marianna, Florida.

The Jackson County Youth Council of the NAACP meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the same location. Young people are encouraged to participate.

SHIP Housing Assistance Applications Are Open!

Jackson County Community Development Director, Ms. Sweazy announces that the housing application portal is now accepting applications for SHIP (State Housing Initiatives Partnership) assistance.

Applicants must be prescreened for eligibility before submitting an official application. To be prescreened for SHIP assistance or first-time homebuyer programs, visit: portal.neighborlysoftware.com
