DELAWARE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS
PRESS RELEASE
OCTOBER 21, 2024

We are informing the public that the ballot drop box previously available outside the Board of Elections Office at 97 Main Street, Suite 5, Delhi, has been removed. It was taken down by maintenance in response to a directive from the chair of the Board of Supervisors citing security issues and a contentious election.

Anyone who received an absentee or early vote by mail ballot who prefers not to return it by mail can deliver it to the Board of Elections office during our open hours, 8:30 – 4 p.m. and during some extended hours during early voting being held at our Delhi Office (October 28 through November 3). Absentee/early mail ballots can also be delivered to any poll site on Election Day, November 5th.
