‼️Hello, Linn County‼️

Linn County E911 Central Dispatch would like to take a minute to clarify that weather alert notifications, commonly known as CodeRED; are not managed by dispatch.

CodeRED alerts, sign-up assistance, and detailed information about the service are handled by Linn County Emergency Management. For questions or help related to CodeRED, Emergency Management is the appropriate point of contact. They do have their own social media page or contacting the Commissioners Office to put you in touch with them.

Please note that there has been a changes in Emergency Management staff. We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding. While we ask for grace during this time, it is important to clarify that E911 Central Dispatch does not oversee or issue CodeRED notifications.

Our dispatchers are here to answer emergency and non-emergency calls and to serve the community during critical moments. Directing CodeRED-related questions to the correct department helps ensure everyone receives the most accurate and timely assistance.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

🚨Stay safe, Linn County🚨
