Cadence Merrell, a recent graduate from Woodland High School, has been awarded the 2026 Bollinger County Farm Bureau Robert L. Dixon Memorial Scholarship. Cadence is the daughter of Stephen and Crystal Merrell of Marble Hill.
She plans to attend Southeast Missouri State this fall and earn her degree in health sciences.
Missouri Farm Bureau and Bollinger County Farm Bureau work to promote agriculture and grow new generations of leaders through the county’s scholarship program.

We are seeking bids to fix our parking lot at Bollinger County Farm Bureau. There is a massive pot hole in the middle of the parking lot, this needs to be fixed not just filled in. There are also some pot holes by the highway. The parking lot could also use some gravel. Work must be done while the office is closed, after hours or weekends. Please have bids submitted by May 18th at 4pm. Bids can be sent to [email protected] or drop them off at the office.

Today board member’s Kyla Estes & Taylor Wilkinson took 4 Bollinger County students to Youth Leadership Day. Those students were Emma Statler, Mandie Kent, Piper Lincoln and Abby DeWitt. They were introduced on the house floor by Representative Tony Harbison. Meet with Senator Jamie Burger and Representative Steve Jordan. They also got to hear from Governor Mike Kehoe.
