Marble Falls TX The Falls on the Colorado Museum The Museum is open Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.; 2001 Broadway St. Donations are welcomed.

Our Mission is to preserve our history, to further our heritage, to protect artifacts, and to provide an ongoing history of Marble Falls and the surrounding communities. The Museum is open to the public, but COVID precautions are followed as appropriate. Mailing address is Falls on the Colorado Museum; P.O.Box 1333; Marble Falls, TX 78654. The Museum has changing exhibits throughout the year.

Rod Oberhaus of Smithwick has been putting his talents to work creating cabinetry, display stands, tables, school desks, and more in preparation for new exhibits slated for the museum’s second floor in the Old Granite School Building. Voting to help chose photographs for the 2027 calendar ends on June 20. A $5 donation= 5 votes. Some very talented local photographers have entered pictures showing different aspects of area agriculture.
The Museum is open from 10 am - 3 pm, Mondays through Saturdays. Admission is free.

At our Night at the Museum event on May 29, two sisters chose a special way to honor their dad’s memory by sponsoring a window in the historic Old Granite School. Many thanks to them for their generosity and for helping preserve a building that has meant so much to so many generations. Every upstairs window now has a sponsor!

From June through July, the Museum will be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.
Also, due to ongoing renovations, some exhibit areas will temporarily not be available. There will still be plenty to see.
Admission is free.

The Falls on the Colorado will be open to visitors on Memorial Day. Our regular hours are 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Starting on Monday, June 1st, the Museum will be open from 10 am until 3 pm, Mondays through Saturdays, during June and July.

The photos are in and now is the time to vote for your favorites. The public vote will help determine which photos are in the 2027 calendar. A $5.00 donation gets five tickets which can be placed with your favorites. Voting is open until June 20. This is an important fundraiser for the Museum. Entrance is free. Hours are 10 am - 2 pm, Mondays through Saturdays.
