Village of Maple Park, Illinois The Village of Maple Park was founded in 1854, and was incorporated in 1865. Maple Park is home to "Maple Park Fun Fest," which is held on Labor Day Weekend.

Originally named Lodi, Maple Park is located about 50 miles west of Chicago, Illinois. Fun Fest includes a baseball tournament, a craft show, a car show, a parade, and beer gardens downtown. More information about Fun Fest can be found at http://mapleparkfunfest.com/.

Kane County Division of Transportation is working on paving Main Street from County Line Road to Liberty Street, they will then pave Liberty Street north going out of town. They will first be working on sidewalk corners and then the paving portion will begin over the next several week.
