📢 Public Service Reminder: Please Do Not Flush Wipes or Rags

To help protect our community’s wastewater system, residents are reminded not to flush wet wipes, paper towels, cleaning cloths, rags, or other non-toilet paper items down the toilet.

Even products labeled as “flushable” do not break down properly in the sewer system and can cause clogged pipes, damaged pumps, sewer backups, and costly repairs.

The only items that should be flushed are:
• Toilet paper
• Human waste

All wipes and similar materials should be disposed of in the trash.

By following these guidelines, you help reduce maintenance costs, prevent service disruptions, and keep our wastewater infrastructure operating efficiently. Thank you for doing your part to protect our community’s sewer system.
