Here is some helpful information for the 1st day of School.

🚨Parent Drop-off and Pick-up

If you are driving your child to school or picking them up after school, the drop-off/pick-up area is at the community gyms entrance. Do not use the front entrance, as this is a designated space for our vulnerable student transportation. Please follow the winding line up to the curb by the building. Bright orange cones will help mark the path. Students must be dropped off and picked up AT THE CURB ONLY, and vehicles must stay in a single line. Students are not permitted to walk through the parking lot to and from your vehicle. Your help with this is very much appreciated and will help keep our students safe.
Students can start entering the building at 7:45 a.m. so please plan accordingly especially during the cold winter months.

Osseo Area Schools is closed today, Sept. 7, in recognition of Labor Day. The 2026-27 school year will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 8!

Don't Forget that Open House is tonight from 4:00-7:00! We will have the PACT table with a poster with all new information and this handout. We will be busy touring with our kids but we hope the information will be useful so that you can be as involved as you would like this year!

Students will not be moving into their lockers tomorrow, this will wait until the first day of school.

If you didn’t know at MGMS we have an amazing committee of veteran teachers called the New Crew who commits to mentoring new staff in the building during their first year and beyond.

This was them last week with our new teachers.

We are very fortunate to have a strong New Crew!

As we prepare for the start of the school year we want to show our deep appreciation for our custodial staff. We would not be on track to have our building in a good place without them.
