Friends and neighbors,
It is my honor to formally announce my candidacy for re-election for Manvel City Council.
About Me:
My late wife Sharon and I moved here in 1976 when Manvel was a rural town and raised our family with a daughter and grandchildren. Since the mid 1980s you have voted me in as your city official councilman several times. I am also a US Navy Veteran, 47 year resident of Manvel and 40 year volunteer first responder with Manvel Fire department.
City Experience:
I am currently position 1 city council and I am asking that I have your support for one more term. In the weeks ahead, I will be sharing with you some more details about myself and my goals as your city council representative. But until then please allow me to share a few points about myself:
Over the years I have served on various committees:
MEDC (Manvel Economic and Development Corporation)
Planning and Development
Cumulatively 13 years of city councilman service
Manvel needs an experienced leader and a collaborative team who understands the dynamics of our community and in my experience it is a continued driving force for Public Safety and Drainage. I have and will continue to work tirelessly for the residents of Manvel.
Over the years as Manvel grew the desire of the community was to allow for the growth to come, but in a managed way. Thus my decision to seek re-election! My work is not finished.
Early voting is April 22 and voting day is May 4! I will be at the Brazoria County Annex May 4 if you have any questions.
