There is a slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for severe weather for areas west of I-77 this evening and overnight. Areas east of I-77 across NEOH and NWPA have a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) for severe storms tonight. The main threat will be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph. Some large hail and an isolated tornado threat may also be possible mainly for NWOH. Stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive warnings tonight!

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR PORTAGE COUNTY OH UNTIL 4:30 PM

The US National Weather Service Cleveland OH has issued a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning for
Portage County in northeastern Ohio
Geauga County in northeastern Ohio
Southern Cuyahoga County in northeastern Ohio
Medina County in northeastern Ohio
Summit County in northeastern Ohio
Southeastern Lorain County in north central Ohio

Until 430 PM EDT.

At 315 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 13 miles north of Fairport Harbor to Cleveland to near Savannah, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include... Akron, Medina, Ravenna, Chardon, Parma, Cuyahoga Falls, Strongsville, Brunswick, North Royalton, North Ridgeville, Aurora, Garrettsville, Kent, Barberton, Solon, Hudson, Wadsworth, Twinsburg, Tallmadge, Streetsboro, Macedonia, and Grafton.

🚧 ROAD MAINTENANCE NOTICE 🚧

The Mantua Village Police Department would like to advise residents and motorists of upcoming road maintenance on High Street.

📅 Saturday, June 13
High Street will be milled and ground down in preparation for paving.

📅 Tuesday, June 16
High Street is scheduled to be paved.

⚠️ Motorists should expect temporary delays, uneven road surfaces, and construction equipment in the area during this work. Please use caution, reduce your speed, and follow all posted signs and directions from road crews.
