Centre City School Centre City School is a 1st through 3rd grade elementary school in Mantua Township with approximately 500 students.

Today was our weekly ticket drawing, and because the students have done so well this week with showing respect and manners, eye contact with adults upon arrival, following the rules and getting better each and every week I pulled double the tickets! So there were 20 total tickets pulled and two of the tickets were an entire homeroom so it was a very winning day! Keep up the hard work. 🎟️

Many thanks to the Mantua Fire Department for our annual fire prevention assembly this afternoon. In the recognition of fire prevention month they came to our school to teach the children about fire safety, calling 911, having working smoke alarms in every room and then distributed awards to the winning poster winner in class. 🔥🚒🧯

Today we kicked off National school lunch week in the cafeteria. The kitchen was transformed into a circus and the meals all week are coordinated around events at a circus! Today there were five secret snack tickets hidden on the bottom of lunch trays for each lunch and those friends got a free snack! There are fun games in the store each day and delicious food. Thank you to Miss Dianne and her kitchen crew for all you do. 🎪🤡🎡🤹

First and third grade buddies!!! It was their first time meeting today for these two classes. All of our first grade homerooms are paired up with third grade homerooms and they will do various events throughout the year together. We love this helping hands opportunity for our students!
