In June 2015, I retired from the Kasson-Mantorville School District after 40 years of teaching. My life has always been about our children, their education, and our future. Now, it is time to take my commitment to the next level and be a voice that represents our children and their needs in the MN legislature.

Essential pay for essential workers!

Minnesotans across race and the essential workforce came together last week to call on our lawmakers to include ALL essential positions in the $250m for bonus pay. State Republicans have been playing political games to divide us, saying there isn't enough to go around for everyone. We're not falling for it.

Now that state budget shows a $7.7 billion dollar surplus, there's NO excuse to exclude essential workers.
