Happy Father's Day to all of the dedicated dads in the fire service!

The time you spend away from your loved ones, along with the dedication, blood, sweat, and tears you sacrifice to serve your communities, speaks volumes about the kind of fathers you are. Your commitment to protecting others while providing for and supporting your families is truly admirable.

Our department is especially excited because, in just a few short days, one of our firefighters will become a father for the very first time, while another firefighter will be welcoming his third child into the world! We couldn't be happier for both of these growing families.

Thank you for everything you do—both at home and in the firehouse. Keep up the great work, gentlemen, and enjoy your well-deserved Father's Day! 🚒❤️👨‍🚒👶

It's been like Christmas at the Fire Department today!

We were honored to receive an extremely old cast-iron horse-drawn water pumper from Barbara Schudel, which will soon be proudly displayed at our department as a piece of firefighting history.

As if that wasn't enough, we were also treated to several bags of delicious goodies from Sarah's Bakery Farmstand!

On behalf of everyone at the department, we would like to thank our community from the bottom of our hearts for always thinking of us and supporting our amazing fire department. Your kindness, generosity, and continued support mean more than words can express. We are truly blessed to serve such a wonderful community.

Two of our young firefighters are set to tie the knot next October, and I love that they chose to include the department in some of their engagement photos.

I couldn't be more proud of these two for their dedication, constant drive to learn, and commitment to being the very best they can be in the fire service.

On a personal level, I'm especially proud as a father to have the opportunity to work alongside my daughter and her fiancé as they continue to grow together, both in life and in service to their community.

Congratulations to you both—I wish you a lifetime of happiness, love, and success.

We embarked on a mission to Stanwood, MI, to collect two skids of bottled water, graciously donated by Ice Mountain Natural Spring Water, made possible through the efforts of Captain Bret Bigelow, now in its fourth year of partnership. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Superior Plus Propane, who handled transportation, and Manton, Michigan DPW, who assisted with unloading, we were able to deliver 156 cases of water, totaling 3,744 bottles, to our brave firefighters and first responders. This achievement is a testament to the power of community and teamwork, we're so grateful for everyone's involvement.

Tonight the City Of Manton Fire Department along with Colfax-Greenwood Fire Dept cranked up the sirens for the Manton High School boys track team Conference Champs coming back home!!!! Awesome job guys good luck Saturday!!!
