Happy Labor Day from Manteo! ❤️

Today we're celebrating the people who keep our community moving—from the people welcoming you downtown, to the chefs serving up dinner, artists creating something new, shopkeepers opening their doors, fishermen heading out before sunrise and everyone who makes Manteo feel like home.

Thank you for all you do to make Manteo a place worth visiting, living and loving.

And as summer winds down, we're looking forward to everything fall has in store. 🍂

Kick off Labor Day Weekend with the best party downtown - First Friday!

Downtown Manteo is the place to be this Friday, September 4, as First Friday brings live music, art, shopping, food, drinks, specials, and plenty of reasons to wander from one end of downtown to the other.

We loved seeing so many young fishermen and women cast a line during our Kids Fishing Tournament. There’s just something special about watching kids discover the joy of fishing right here in the heart of downtown.

Some of the best summer memories are made with a little salt air, a fishing line, and time together.

Start your Saturday waterfront-side! Shop local vendors, discover handmade finds and enjoy the views along the Manteo waterfront.
