Friends of The Manteno Public Library Nonprofit The funds help to meet the needs of the library that could not be budgeted for otherwise. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month.

Friends of the Manteno Public Library is a non-profit organization that actively supports the Manteno Public Library, an important community asset, through fundraising, advocacy, volunteerism, public awareness campaigns, and literacy programs. We also host fun, entertaining, and educational community events throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to attend. If interested, please email [email protected] for the Zoom link.

Join us for our Summer Reading Kick Off Party Today! 🌧️🌱

The weather might be a bit damp, but we aren't letting it wilt our fun! Today’s Summer Reading Kick Off Party is moving indoors to the Manteno Public Library. Join us from 11:00am to 1:00pm!

When you arrive, head over to our welcome table! We will have two separate lines to keep things moving quickly: one for those who have already registered to pick up their summer reading packets, and one for those who still need to register.

We have a bounty of fun planned, including games, tattoos, snacks, crafts, and a few surprises (while supplies last)!
