Today my baby turns 5! 🥹🧁
🧁5 years of Twisted Cupcake. 5 years of flour everywhere, buttercream in places it shouldn’t be, TOO MUCH caffeine, questionable decisions, and MANY repair problems🥴 But honestly, this little bakery is everything I dreamed of and more.

The best part of it..? All y’all out there who CONSTANTLY support us🖤

Some of you started as customers and turned into friends. You come in for a donut and end up sitting around drinking coffee and bullsh*tting with me like we’ve known each other forever. You vent to me, I vent right back, we solve absolutely nothing, laugh about it, and somehow everybody leaves feeling better😂

That’s what makes this place so damn special to me. It’s not just a bakery or a career, it’s my little corner of the world where people come in, hang out, catch up, eat something sweet, and OCCASIONALLY watch me have a minor meltdown🤪

So here’s to 5 years of Twisted Cupcake, and to every single person who has supported my crazy little dream and helped make it what it is today 🖤🧁

This Saturday, the 3rd Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s returns to The Square on Second in downtown Manteno!

We’re proud to once again welcome walkers, families, caregivers, volunteers, and supporters to our community as they come together to honor those living with Alzheimer’s, remember those we’ve lost, and support the fight to end this disease. 💜

⏰ Festivities begin at 8:30 AM
💜 Opening Ceremony at 9:30 AM
👟 Walk begins at 10:00 AM

Neala is certainly a familiar face in our community. For more than 31 years, she has been a part of the Manteno business community through Dance Alive!, watching generations of children walk through the studio doors, grow in confidence, develop their talents, and become part of the Dance Alive! family.

As a longtime small business owner, Neala brings years of experience, creativity, and a true connection to our community to the Manteno Chamber Board.
