The Tioga County Housing Authority is hiring a clerk for the Elkland office. This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week.

The Clerk assists the Building Manager with general office duties, including scheduling, scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks. Responsibilities also include accepting rent payments and issuing receipts, answering telephone calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members or outside agencies.

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, so it is a great time to show all the tenants who volunteer for Fresh Express how much we appreciate them.

Each of our 10 Fresh Express locations have a group of tenants who completed the volunteer training program and show up every month to ensure their neighbors have access to healthy and nutritious food.

Throughout the month, volunteers have been recognized with a “Housing Authority Volunteer” t-shirt that they can wear when helping at Fresh Express.

Amy Gundersen, Branch Operations Officer for FCCB (First Citizens Community Bank) traveled to Riverside Park in Blossburg for a Fraud Presentation. She shared important tips for avoiding fraud as well as information on different types of scams and how to spot them.

Tenants shared stories, asked questions, and all left with valuable information on protecting themselves. Everyone also received a cute money/coin bag. Thank you, Amy, and FCCB!

The Bradford County Housing Authority is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as we help families access safe, affordable housing in our community.

We’re hiring a full-time Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8.) Case Coordinator. This position is based in Towanda and offers competitive pay, excellent benefits starting day one, and work that truly matters!

This position is responsible for determining the eligibility of applicants and current participants in the Housing Choice Voucher program and Authority owned tax credit buildings.

The Case Coordinator will be conducting income verifications, the preparation of lease and HAP contracts; calculating tenant rent payments and utility allowances; re-evaluation of existing tenants annually to determine rent changes and preparation of new leases.

We are actively seeking a qualified individual for the position of Public Housing Building Manager. This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) with excellent benefits starting on day one.

We’re looking for a reliable, people-focused, and self-motivated individual to join our public housing team in Towanda, Sayre & Athens.

The Building Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration of public housing properties, including managing tenant admissions, interviewing applicants, and preparing leases and other move-in documentation. Additional responsibilities include re-evaluating existing tenants annually, conducting income verifications to determine rent adjustments, and responding to resident concerns in a professional and timely manner.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, enjoys working with people, and remains calm and professional in challenging situations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities are essential.
