Great day so far. Our sermon this morning was about being great. The only way to be kingdom great is to serve and be humble (Matthew 20). Then watched the US men win a hard fought gold medal in hockey. That ceremony with the pics was emotional. And it's only 2pm. Have a great week everyone, we have much to celebrate and give thanks for.

A-Rod Youth Baseball Invitational Coming to Mansfield

KemperSports and former Major League Baseball player Alex Rodriguez have announced a new national youth baseball tournament set for Mansfield this summer.

The inaugural A-Rod Invitational is scheduled for June 25th through the 28th at Fields at Station 63. Organizers say the event will bring together elite youth teams from around the country and will focus on fundamentals, skill development, and game experience rather than player rankings or performance metrics.

The tournament will guarantee each team at least four games, including three pool-play matchups followed by a single-elimination championship bracket. Plans also include on-field instructional sessions, with Rodriguez expected to make appearances focused on hitting, fielding, and base running fundamentals.

KemperSports officials say the event is part of a broader effort to expand high-quality youth sports programming at major venue facilities. Fields at Station 63 recently reopened after renovations and includes eight synthetic turf fields and updated training amenities.

Registration is now open for teams in the 9-U through 13-U divisions. Organizers say national participation is expected.
